Pressed Wool & Synthetic Felt
Industrial Felt
Industrial felt is a dense, non-woven textile manufactured by pressing and matting wool or synthetic fibres. We stock pressed wool felt in multiple density grades along with polyester and saddle felt, available in full sheets and narrow strips for dust sealing, oil wicking, vibration dampening, and polishing applications.

Available Grades
F1 (White/Natural Wool Felt)
Our most commonly specified grade. A natural white pressed wool felt with good density and consistent thickness. Ideal for dust sealing, oil wicking, and general-purpose industrial applications.
F5 (Brown Wool Felt. Medium Density)
Medium-density pressed wool felt in a natural brown colour. Offers increased firmness compared to F1, suited to applications requiring moderate load support and enhanced dust exclusion.
F10 (Blue/Brown Wool Felt. High Density)
High-density pressed wool felt providing superior firmness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. Specified for heavy-duty bearing wipes, polishing, and applications subject to sustained pressure.
Saddle Felt (Black)
Dense black pressed felt originally developed for saddlery and leather goods. Used in industrial applications requiring a firm, resilient cushioning material with good abrasion resistance.
Saddle Felt (Blue)
Blue-dyed dense pressed felt with properties similar to black saddle felt. Colour coding aids identification in multi-material assemblies.
Polyester Felt
Synthetic polyester felt offering improved moisture resistance and dimensional stability compared to wool grades. Suited to applications where water exposure or humidity may affect natural wool fibres.
