Profile Types

We stock standard profile shapes and can source custom cross-sections to match your exact sealing requirements.

P-Profile Seals

A rounded compressible bulb with a flat stem for adhesive or mechanical attachment. Commonly used for door and hatch seals on enclosures, cabinets, and access panels.

D-Profile Seals

Half-round cross-section with a flat mounting face. Provides medium-compression sealing for doors, lids, and hinged covers where consistent gap closure is required.

Bulb Trim Seals

Co-extruded profiles combining a rigid retainer clip with a soft compressible bulb. Snaps onto sheet metal flanges for quick installation on doors, panels, and vehicle bodies.

U-Channel Edge Trim

Flexible U-shaped channels that grip sheet metal, glass, or panel edges to protect against cuts, vibration, and abrasion. Available with internal metal reinforcement for a secure grip.

E-Profile & Lip Seals

Flexible lip profiles for light-compression sealing around enclosure doors and sliding panels. Low closing force with effective dust and moisture exclusion.

Custom Cross-Sections

Custom extrusion profiles manufactured to your drawing or sample. We work with our manufacturing partners to produce tooling and deliver profiles to your exact specification.

Materials

We extrude profiles in EPDM, silicone, neoprene, TPE, and PVC — matched to your temperature, chemical, and mechanical requirements.

Material compatibility and temperature limits vary by compound grade — check our Chemical Compatibility Database or contact us before specifying profiles for aggressive media or extreme service conditions.

EPDM

Weathering, ozone, and UV-resistant. The default choice for outdoor and general-purpose sealing. Available in solid and sponge grades.

Silicone

Wide temperature range (-60 to +230 °C) with strong flexibility retention. Suited to oven doors and high-temperature enclosures; food-grade compounds available on request.

Neoprene

Good oil, flame, and chemical resistance. Widely used in marine, mining, and industrial enclosure sealing where moderate chemical exposure is expected.

TPE & PVC

Thermoplastic elastomers and PVC profiles for cost-effective, lightweight sealing. Co-extrudable with rigid sections for clip-in edge trim and decorative mouldings.

Applications

From industrial enclosures and vehicle doors to commercial glazing, extruded profiles seal wherever a continuous, compressible barrier is needed.

Doors & Hatches

Weatherseals for access doors, hatches, and inspection panels on industrial equipment, switchgear enclosures, and building facades.

Cabinets & Enclosures

Ingress Protection (IP)-rated sealing profiles for electrical cabinets, control panels, junction boxes, and outdoor instrument enclosures.

Edge Protection

U-channel and fender trim for protecting personnel from sharp sheet metal edges on machinery, vehicles, and fabricated steelwork.

Vehicle & Marine

Windscreen seals, boot seals, engine bay seals, and marine hatch gaskets for trucks, buses, trailers, and vessels.

HVAC & Ductwork

Duct flange seals, damper blade seals, and access panel gaskets for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Glazing & Fenestration

Glass-retention seals, window frame gaskets, and curtain wall profiles for commercial and industrial glazing systems.
