Rubber & Elastomers
Our rubber and elastomer range spans general-purpose sheet rubber through to speciality fluoroelastomers, diaphragm grades, and vibration isolation compounds. Each formulation is engineered for specific temperature, chemical, and mechanical demands. We supply sheet, roll, and die-cut forms across all durometers.
Overview
Rubber and elastomers form the backbone of industrial sealing. From general-purpose compounds like EPDM and nitrile through to high-performance fluoroelastomers such as FKM and FFKM, this category covers one of the broadest operating envelopes across gasket material families. NBR covers the majority of general industrial sealing selections; the upgrade to FKM tends to come when steam, amines, or aromatic solvents enter the picture. We stock standard durometer sheets alongside speciality diaphragm, vibration isolation, and dust exclusion grades, all available in sheet, roll, or die-cut form to suit your application.
Our Range
EPDM
The default choice for water treatment, HVAC, and outdoor sealing. Versatile synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to weather, ozone, UV, steam, and hot water. Avoid contact with oils and fuels — incompatibility is the most common specification mistake we see on EPDM jobs.
View DetailsNeoprene (CR)
General-purpose rubber with moderate oil resistance combined with good ozone and weather resistance. A versatile choice for refrigeration, marine, and industrial sealing environments.
View DetailsNitrile (NBR)
If oil or fuel is part of the duty, NBR is where most general industrial gasket work starts. Available in a wide durometer range for gaskets, seals, and diaphragms across automotive and industrial applications. Standard grades typically rated to around 100 °C continuous; HNBR variants extend the upper limit further.
View DetailsFKM (Viton)
When NBR can't keep up — steam, aromatic solvents, oxidising acids — FKM is usually next. Continuous service to 200°C+ with broad chemical resistance. Widely specified in oil and gas, chemical processing, and aerospace applications.
View DetailsSilicone (VMQ)
Wide-temperature elastomer rated from −60°C to +230°C continuous. Used in food-grade, medical, and high-temperature sealing where compression set resistance is critical.
View DetailsButyl (IIR)
Exceptional gas impermeability and resistance to steam, ozone, and weathering. Ideal for gas-tight seals, pharmaceutical closures, and vacuum applications.
View DetailsNatural Rubber (NR)
Among the highest resilience and tear strength of common rubbers. Suited to water, mild acids, and low-temperature applications where elasticity and abrasion resistance matter. Poor resistance to oils, ozone, and UV — keep it away from petroleum service and prolonged outdoor exposure.
View DetailsSBR / General Rubber
Where cost matters more than chemical compatibility, SBR carries most of the load. Economy and general-purpose rubber category covering SBR compounds and abrasion-resistant grades. Avoid for oil, fuel, or aggressive chemical service.
View DetailsTFE/P (Aflas)
The fluoroelastomer that holds up where standard FKM fails — steam, amines, and bases that would attack a Viton compound. Tetrafluoroethylene/propylene copolymer chemistry. Specified for sour gas service, downstream amine plants, and aggressive chemical processing.
View DetailsCSM (Hypalon)
Strong resistance to oxidising chemicals including chlorine, bleach, and ozone. Specified for chemical processing, water treatment, and outdoor industrial environments.
View DetailsFFKM (Kalrez)
The broadest chemical resistance of any elastomer family — handles aggressive acids, solvents, fuels, amines, and ketones at elevated temperatures. Defined limits at molten alkali metals, fluorine, and operation above ~325 °C. The highest-specified sealing elastomer for extreme chemical service.
View DetailsAEM (Vamac)
Ethylene acrylic elastomer with good resistance to hot oil, transmission fluids, and moderate chemicals. A cost-effective alternative to fluoroelastomers in automotive and industrial applications.
View DetailsTPV (Santoprene)
Rubber-plastic hybrid combining the flexibility and sealing performance of vulcanised rubber with thermoplastic processability. Suited to automotive, appliance, and industrial sealing.
View DetailsPU Vibration Isolation (Sorbothane)
Proprietary visco-elastic polyurethane compound (Shore OO 30–70) engineered for vibration damping, shock absorption, and acoustic isolation in sensitive equipment.
View DetailsPure Gum
Unfilled natural rubber sheet with high elasticity and stretch recovery. Suited to low-pressure sealing where conformability is critical.
View DetailsDiaphragm Rubber
Fabric-reinforced nitrile and neoprene diaphragm sheet for pumps, valves, and actuators. Engineered for flex life and low gas permeability.
View DetailsDust Sealing Cloth
High-elasticity natural rubber compound with textured grip finish. UV-resistant and suited to outdoor dust encapsulation and chute skirting.
