Rod seals, piston seals, buffer seals, wipers, wear rings, back-up rings: we stock the full kit for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Materials run from polyurethane and NBR through to bronze-filled PTFE for the tougher duties. Got a non-standard bore? We machine custom profiles to your dimensions.
Types & Variants
Rod Seals
Primary sealing element on the rod side of hydraulic cylinders. Prevents external leakage under system pressure.
Piston Seals
Seals between the piston and cylinder bore to maintain pressure differential and prevent internal bypass.
Wiper Rings
Scraper seals at the cylinder head that keep dirt, moisture, and grit off the rod. Neglect these and you'll chew through your rod seal in no time.
Wear Rings
Guide rings that centre the piston and rod to prevent metal-to-metal contact and reduce side loading on seals.
Back-Up Rings
Anti-extrusion rings fitted alongside O-rings to prevent seal damage under high pressure or wide clearances.
