Phenolic Cotton Laminate

Phenolic cotton laminate combines good electrical insulation with higher impact resistance and mechanical toughness than paper-based grades. We stock cotton fabric phenolic sheet from 3–50 mm. Fine-weave electrical grades through heavy-duty structural sections. Suited to gears, bearings, terminal boards, and high-impact insulating components.

NEMA C (Standard Cotton Fabric)

General-purpose cotton fabric phenolic with good mechanical strength and adequate electrical properties. Suitable for structural insulation, gears, and bearings where impact resistance is more important than fine electrical performance.

NEMA CE (Cotton Fabric, Electrical Grade)

Cotton fabric phenolic optimised for electrical insulation applications. Improved dielectric properties compared to Grade C while retaining good mechanical toughness.

F3 (Fine-Weave Cotton Fabric)

Fine-weave cotton fabric phenolic offering superior surface finish, better machinability, and more consistent electrical properties. Preferred for precision machined insulation components and terminal boards.

NEMA LE / L (Linen Fabric)

Linen fabric reinforced phenolic grades providing the finest weave texture and best surface finish in the cotton-base range. Excellent for precision gears, low-friction bearings, and detailed machined parts.

Melamine G9

Glass fabric reinforced melamine laminate offering improved moisture resistance and arc resistance compared to standard phenolic cotton grades. Suitable for applications requiring better performance in humid environments.
