Dense Cellulose Laminate & Statite Insulation Board
Vulcanised Fibre
Vulcanised fibre is a traditional, high-performance cellulose laminate prized for its exceptional arc resistance, mechanical toughness, and ability to be formed when wet. We stock vulcanised fibre sheet in red and black finishes alongside Statite branded board. Providing reliable, cost-effective insulation for washers, slot liners, arc chutes, and fuse components across the electrical industry.

Available Grades
Brands we stock: Statite
Red Vulcanised Fibre
Traditional red vulcanised fibre. The most widely recognised grade. Excellent arc resistance, high mechanical strength, and good machinability. Formable when moistened, returning to a rigid state on drying. Our standard grade for washers, slot liners, and fuse components.
Black Vulcanised Fibre
Black-coloured vulcanised fibre offering the same mechanical and electrical properties as the red grade. Preferred where colour coding, UV resistance, or aesthetic requirements dictate a dark finish.
Statite (Brown Insulation Board)
Statite is a branded dense cellulose insulation board available from 0.2 mm to 3.2 mm in a brown finish. Good dielectric strength with excellent machinability and punching characteristics. Widely used for transformer insulation, terminal boards, and general-purpose electrical isolation.
