Expanded Graphite Gasket Sheet and Laminate
Flexible Graphite Sheet
We stock flexible graphite sheet in plain, adhesive-backed, and stainless steel foil reinforced variants. The expanded natural graphite structure handles temperatures from -240 °C in air to +550 °C in saturated steam and resists virtually all process chemicals that destroy compressed fibre gaskets.

Available Grades
Brands we stock: Grafoil (GrafTech), Papyex (Mersen), Sigraflex (Frenzelit, formerly SGL Carbon), Grafilit, Topchem
Grafoil GHP
High-purity flexible graphite sheet from GrafTech. 99%+ carbon purity for nuclear, semiconductor, and ultra-high-purity chemical applications. Very low sulphur and chloride content.
Grafoil GHR
Nuclear-grade flexible graphite meeting stringent purity and traceability requirements. Used in reactor sealing, primary circuit flanges, and other safety-critical nuclear applications.
Grafoil GHW
Flexible graphite sheet with integrated woven stainless steel wire reinforcement for improved handling strength and blowout resistance. Suitable for higher-pressure applications.
Grafoil GHE
Economy-grade flexible graphite sheet for general industrial sealing. ≥98% carbon purity, suitable for steam, hydrocarbons, and moderate chemical service.
Papyex
Mersen (formerly Carbone Lorraine) flexible graphite sheet. Available in multiple purity grades for chemical, petrochemical, and high-temperature applications.
Sigraflex
Frenzelit (formerly SGL Carbon) flexible graphite sheet range. High-quality European-manufactured graphite available in plain, adhesive-backed, and metal-reinforced variants.
PSM / PSM-AS
Plain graphite sheet (PSM) and adhesive-backed graphite sheet (PSM-AS). The adhesive-backed variant simplifies gasket installation on vertical and overhead flanges.
SLS (Stainless Steel Laminate)
Flexible graphite laminated with a stainless steel foil insert (tanged or flat). Provides significantly improved handling strength, blowout resistance, and dimensional stability for high-pressure service.
Grafilit SL / SP
Grafilit brand flexible graphite sheet available in standard (SL) and high-purity (SP) grades. Suitable for general industrial and chemical processing gaskets.
3125SS / 3125TC
Flexible graphite sheet with stainless steel tang insert (3125SS) and graphite sheet with thermally conductive properties (3125TC). The tanged variant is our most popular graphite laminate for high-pressure flange sealing.
Topgraph 2000
General purpose flexible graphite gasket sheet from Topchem. Good sealability across steam, hot water, hydrocarbons, and general chemical service at moderate temperatures and pressures.
Topgraph 2008
Higher-purity flexible graphite sheet from Topchem with improved stress retention. Suited to demanding high-temperature and chemical service requiring tighter long-term sealing.
High-Density / High-Pressure Flexible Graphite
Higher-density expanded graphite sheet specifically rated for elevated bolt-load and high-pressure service. Reduced creep relaxation and improved sealability at extreme compressive stress compared to standard-density grades. Used on critical high-pressure flanges where standard graphite sheet does not provide adequate long-term sealing.
